OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Fire responded to a building fire at 25th Avenue and Jones Street on Wednesday morning.

The blaze was reported at 5:15 a.m., according to crews at the scene. When they arrived, the fire was on the first floor and they believe it spread up the walls.

The 100-year-old building was vacant.

No injuries were reported as fire crews fought the fire from only outside the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The building had been condemned, forcing residents of the Flora Apartments out in January. Together Omaha helped find temporary housing for about two dozen tenants who were displaced while city officials worked to get in touch with the owner of the building.

Dozens of residents were also displaced from the building after a fire there in June.
